Student grades and technician levels

A glossary in Cantonese and English
Wing Tsun's language is part of the art. C3NTR's glossary holds the terms in one place: the Cantonese name, your school's translation, and the article each term appears in.
- Wing Tsun
- Wing Tsun (詠春), the southern Chinese close-range martial art traditionally said to have been founded by the Buddhist nun Ng Mui and brought into the modern era by Grandmaster.
- Sifu
- Sifu (师父), teacher or master, literally "teacher-father". The title reflects the close, respectful relationship between teacher and student in the Chinese martial arts.
- Yee Jee Kim Yeung Ma
- The goat-clamping stance (二字鉗陽馬), Wing Tsun's signature foundation stance..
- Siu Nim Tao
- Little idea. The first form, where structure and stance are built.
- Tan Sau
- Tan sau (攤手), "spreading hand" or palm-up hand..
- Bong Sau
- Bong sau (膀手), "wing arm"..
Lineage gatherings, sifu visits, school closures

Common questions
Can students only see their grade's material?
Yes. Tag any article with a minimum student grade or technician level. New students see only the first form and the principles behind it. Senior instructors always see everything.
Does it cover both Yip Man and earlier lineages?
C3NTR is lineage neutral. The library is yours to fill. Wing Tsun, Wing Chun, Ving Tsun, Pin Sun, traditional or modern Yip Man transmission. Write in your school's voice.
What if my school spells it Wing Chun, not Wing Tsun?
Both work. The page name and the slug are conventions for search. Your library inside the app uses your school's preferred spelling throughout.
How long does it take to set up?
Most schools have a working library in under an hour. Import the starter template in a few taps, then edit anything that doesn't fit. Starting blank takes a little longer. Allow an hour or two to write your first ten articles. Students can use the app the day you publish.
Do I have to stop using my booking system?
No. C3NTR is a knowledge library for your curriculum, terminology and progressions. Booking, billing and scheduling stay with the tools you already use.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Seed is free forever for up to 30 students, with no credit card required. Move up to School (£39/mo) or Academy (£69/mo) when you outgrow it.
