Your school's curriculum deserves a home

Workshop notes get scribbled on hand-outs and lost. Craft principles, voice, POV, structure, get taught and re-taught. Reading lists sit across different folders. C3NTR is a quiet place to write it all down once, in your school's voice.

Who this is for

Independent schools

One teacher, a teaching room, and a steady group of students. C3NTR puts your topics, exercises and notes in one place.

Schools with multiple teachers

Two or more teachers teaching the same subject. C3NTR holds the shared standard so every class draws from the same library.

Schools running MA-prep workshops

You prepare writers for postgraduate study. Content locked by level keeps newer writers on craft basics while prep students see manuscript work.

Built for teachers, not for IT

Your teacher opens the app, taps Edit, and writes the next craft note in plain prose. The next workshop, writers arrive knowing the point.

Write directly in the app

Like a notepad. New articles are drafts until you publish, so nothing goes live by mistake.

Mobile-first authoring

Edit on the phone between classes or on the way home. The same library, the same edit screen.

A working library in under an hour

Import the starter template in a few taps. Edit anything that doesn't fit. Publish when ready.

Levels, beginner, intermediate, advanced, MFA-prep

Content locked by level, in your school's progression

Tag any article with a minimum level. Beginners see foundations. Intermediate see longer forms. Advanced see manuscript work. The same library, the right view per student.

A glossary of creative writing terms

Creative writing has its own vocabulary. C3NTR's glossary holds the terms in one place: the technical names, your school's definitions, and the article each term appears in.

Voice
The recognisable way a particular writer puts words together, the rhythm, vocabulary and angle that makes their prose unmistakable.
Showing and telling
The choice between giving the reader the evidence (showing) or stating the conclusion directly (telling), both have a place..
Point of view
The perspective from which a story is told, whose eyes the reader is seeing through, and how close to that person's thoughts the narration sits.
Scene
A unit of story that takes place at a specific time, in a specific place, with specific characters, and changes something about the world by the end.
Stakes
What the character stands to lose (or gain) if the story doesn't go their way, the reason the reader cares what happens next.
First draft
The initial complete (or near-complete) version of a piece of writing, the version that exists for the writer, not yet for the reader.

Readings, deadlines, masterclasses

C3NTR isn't only the library. Schedule the next reading, post submission deadlines, and let writers see what's ahead. Announcements land on their Today tab and events sit on the calendar.

Start from our Creative Writing template

A working starter with 14 articles, 2 short videos, a 7-terms glossary across 5 tags (Getting Started, Voice and Style, Story and Structure, Drafting and Revising, Practice and Reading). Import in a few taps, then edit anything that doesn't fit your school. Every article, term and tag is yours from the moment you import.
