AI writing assistant
C3NTR can help you draft template articles using AI. You choose the provider, supply your own API key, and generate a starting point that you then review and refine. AI drafting is available in the Template Manager, where you build and fill out templates.
Supported providers
C3NTR works with two AI providers:
- Claude — by Anthropic
- ChatGPT — by OpenAI
You choose which one to use. Both produce Markdown article drafts tailored to your discipline. Each provider uses a fixed, cost-effective model behind the scenes, so there is nothing else to configure.
Your API key stays on your device
Your API key is stored in secure storage on your device only. It is never sent to C3NTR servers or saved in any database. The key goes directly from your device to your chosen AI provider when you generate a draft.
Set up the AI assistant
Open the More menu and, under Writing tools, tap AI writing assistant.
Choose Claude or ChatGPT as your provider.
Enter your API key. You can get one from your provider's website.
The status shows Connected — ready to use when your key is valid.
Draft a template article with AI
Open the Template Manager from the More menu and open a template you are building.
Tap Generate next to an article whose body you want the AI to draft. If you haven't connected a key yet, C3NTR takes you to the AI settings first.
The AI uses the article's title, its section, and the template's discipline as context — so you don't have to describe the topic yourself.
The generated Markdown appears in a preview dialog. Review it, then keep it as the article's body or discard it and try again.
The AI gives you a starting point. You review it, edit it, and publish when you are happy with the result.
Your API key is yours. C3NTR does not provide AI credits or charge for AI usage. You pay your chosen provider directly based on their pricing.
If you see an error when generating a draft, check that your API key is correct and that your account has available credits with your provider.
