Joining a school

This guide walks you through downloading C3NTR, signing in, and joining your school. The whole process takes about a minute once you have your join code.

Download the app

C3NTR is available for iPhone and iPad. Search for C3NTR in the App Store or ask your school leader for a direct link.

The app is free to download. You do not need to pay anything to join a school.

Sign in with your phone number

C3NTR uses your phone number to sign in. There is no password to remember.

Phone number entry with country code

Open C3NTR and enter your phone number with the country code (for example, +44 for the UK or +1 for the US).

You will receive a six-digit code by SMS. Enter it on the next screen.

If this is your first time, you will be asked for your name and a short nickname. Your school leader uses these to identify you in the member list.

Choose your path

Create a school or join a school

After signing in, you will see two options:

Tap Join a school to continue.

Enter your join code

Your school leader will give you a join code. This is a short text slug, like golden-dragon-kung-fu. It identifies the school you want to join.

Type or paste the join code into the field.

Tap Request access. You will see a confirmation screen letting you know your request has been sent.

Note

If you do not have a join code, ask your school leader or instructor. They can find it in the school settings.

Wait for approval

Your school leader or an admin will review your request. Until they approve it, you will see a pending screen.

Approval times vary. Some schools approve new members within minutes. Others review requests at a set time each week. If you are unsure, check with your school leader directly.

You will receive a notification when your request is approved.

Explore your school

Once approved, you will land on your school's home screen. From here you can:

If you belong to more than one school, you can switch between them from your profile. Tap the profile icon in the top corner of the home screen.

Tip

You can link an email later from your profile. This gives you a backup sign-in method if you change phones.
