Branding & theme

Make C3NTR feel like your school. Choose your brand colour, upload a logo, pick dark or light mode, and see changes appear for every member straight away.

Open Theme Studio

Theme Studio is where you control your school's visual identity. You can reach it in two ways:

• Settings > Identity — Open the theme controls any time.
• Setup wizard, step 2 — If you are still working through the wizard, the theme step takes you there automatically.

Theme Studio shows a live phone preview on the right side of the screen. Every change you make updates the preview in real time, so you can see exactly how your school will look before you save.

Choose a brand colour

Your primary colour appears across the app: in buttons, highlights, the navigation bar, and active states. Tap the colour swatch to open the colour picker.

C3NTR includes a built-in WCAG contrast checker. If the colour you pick does not have enough contrast against white or dark text, you will see a warning. This helps keep your app readable for all members.

Dark or light mode

Toggle between dark and light mode at the top of Theme Studio. The preview updates instantly. Your choice applies to every member's device.

Button text mode

Buttons use text over your brand colour. You have three options:

• Auto — C3NTR picks white or dark text based on your colour's brightness.
• Light — Always use white text on buttons.
• Dark — Always use dark text on buttons.

Auto works well for most schools. Use the manual options if you have a specific preference.

Surface tint

The surface tint slider controls how much of your brand colour bleeds into cards, backgrounds, and panels. A higher tint gives the app a stronger colour identity. A lower tint keeps things neutral.

Upload a logo

Your logo appears on the home screen and in the navigation bar. Tap the logo area in Theme Studio to upload an image from your device.

For best results, use a square image with a transparent background. PNG format works well.

Upload a hero image

The hero image is a large banner that can appear on your home screen. After uploading, you can adjust the focal point so the most important part of the image stays visible on different screen sizes.

School name and discipline

Your school name and discipline are also shown in the Identity settings. You can change either at any time. Changing the name updates it across the app for all members. Changing the discipline updates template suggestions and AI draft context.
