Library
2 min readThe Library tab is your personal shelf. It holds the articles you're part way through, everything you've saved with the heart, and what you've looked at recently — all in one scroll.
Open it from the fourth tab in the navigation bar. If you don't see a "Library" label, your school may have renamed it — the icon (an open book) is always the same.
The first row in the Library shows articles you've started but haven't finished. A thin progress bar under the cover image tells you how far you got, and an estimate like "4 min left" helps you decide whether to finish it now or later. Tap any card to jump back to where you left off.
Progress updates automatically as you scroll. Once an article reaches roughly 90% read, it moves out of Continue Reading and into Recently Viewed.
Your home screen can show a Pick up where you left off shortcut too — the same list, placed higher so you see it as soon as you open the app. See Home screen for how school leaders enable it.
Your place is remembered across devices, tied to your account. If you start an article on your phone and open it on another device signed in to the same school, you'll land back at the same scroll point.
Favourites
Tap the heart icon on any article, term, video, audio recording, or tag to save it here. The heart stays filled so you know it's in your Favourites.
Five buckets, one strip
Favourites group themselves by what kind of thing you saved. A pill row at the top of the Favourites strip lets you switch between them:
- Articles — written pieces you've hearted.
- Terms — glossary entries you want close at hand.
- Videos — recorded demos and clips.
- Audio — pronunciations, count-alongs, and short recordings.
- Tags — whole sections you've pinned for fast access.
Empty buckets stay hidden, so the row only shows the kinds of things you've actually saved. You don't need to choose a bucket when you favourite something — C3NTR puts it in the right place automatically.
There are two ways to remove a favourite:
- Swipe left on the card in the Library to remove it.
- Tap the filled heart on the article, term, video, audio recording, or tag anywhere in the app.
Recently Viewed
Everything you've opened in the last few weeks appears here, most recent first. This is the quickest way back to something you read yesterday but didn't save.
An article already in Continue Reading won't show up here twice — we only list it in one place.
Read-state indicators on cards
Everywhere you see article cards (Home, Explore, Library), two small marks tell you where you stand:
- A filled dot in the top corner — you haven't opened this article yet.
- A thin bar along the bottom of the cover image — you've started it but haven't finished.
- No mark — you've read it, or it's a term rather than an article.
One Library per school
Your Library is scoped to your active school. If you belong to more than one school and switch between them, each school keeps its own Favourites, Continue Reading, and Recently Viewed.
Announcements aren't tracked here. Continue Reading and the progress bar only apply to articles. Favourites cover articles, terms, videos, audio, and tags.
