Disciplines
Your discipline tells C3NTR what kind of school you run. It shapes the templates you see, the context your AI drafts receive, and how your school appears to members.
Supported categories
C3NTR supports eight discipline categories:
- Martial Arts
- Dance
- Music
- Yoga
- Gymnastics
- Fitness
- Wellness
- Academic
Within these categories there are 73 sub-disciplines. For example, Martial Arts includes Wing Chun, Karate, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Dance covers Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Music includes Piano, Guitar, and Violin.
Set your discipline
You choose your discipline during school creation in the setup wizard. The picker works in two steps: pick a category first, then pick the specific sub-discipline within it.
To change your discipline later, go to Settings > Identity and update it there.
What your discipline affects
- Template suggestions — The template library filters by your discipline, so you see starter content that fits your subject.
- AI drafts — When you use the AI writing assistant, your discipline label is passed as context. This helps the AI produce more relevant articles.
- School identity — Your discipline appears on your school profile and helps members understand what kind of school they have joined.
Changing discipline is safe
Switching your discipline does not delete or alter any existing content. It only changes the suggestions and context you receive going forward. Your articles, terms, tags, and media all stay exactly as they are.
If your discipline is not listed, choose the closest category and get in touch at hello@c3ntr.app. We add new sub-disciplines regularly.
