AI writing assistant
C3NTR can help you draft articles using AI. You choose the provider, supply your own API key, and generate a starting point that you then review and refine.
Supported providers
C3NTR works with two AI providers:
- Claude — by Anthropic
- ChatGPT — by OpenAI
You choose which one to use. Both produce Markdown article drafts tailored to your discipline and grade level.
Your API key stays on your device
Your API key is stored in secure storage on your device only. It is never sent to C3NTR servers or saved in any database. The key goes directly from your device to your chosen AI provider when you generate a draft.
Set up the AI assistant
Go to Settings > AI Writing, or tap the Writing Tools tile on the More screen.
Choose Claude or ChatGPT as your provider.
Enter your API key. You can get one from your provider's website.
The status shows Connected when your key is valid and ready.
Draft an article with AI
Open any article in the editor.
Tap the AI Draft button.
Enter a topic and, if you like, a few bullet points to guide the draft.
The grade hint and discipline are filled in automatically from your school settings.
The AI generates a draft in Markdown. It appears in the editor with an "AI draft inserted" banner and an Undo option in case you want to go back.
The AI gives you a starting point. You review it, edit it, and publish when you are happy with the result.
Your API key is yours. C3NTR does not provide AI credits or charge for AI usage. You pay your chosen provider directly based on their pricing.
If you see an error when generating a draft, check that your API key is correct and that your account has available credits with your provider.
